BX receives FINMA approval as Registration Office
The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA has granted BX Swiss AG approval as Registration Office to maintain the Swiss register of advisors in accordance with Article 31 of the Financial Services Act (FinSA). Approval will take effect on 20 July 2020, the date from which registered applicants will be able to submit applications for entry in the register of advisors via the BX Swiss online platform.
Entry mandatory until 19 January 2021
With the approval of BX Swiss AG as the sole Registration Office to date, the six-month transition period pursuant to Art. 107 FinSO will begin to run: Accordingly, the application for entry in the register of advisors must be submitted by 19 January 2021 at the latest.

Fully digitized and cost-efficient application process
BX Swiss supports fully digital application processes based on technological platforms and RegTech solutions of the latest generation. Users can track the status of their applications via the online platform and are immediately informed of any changes by e-mail. The end-to-end digitisation of the application process allows BX Swiss to offer registration at a fee in the lower range of the legal bandwidth. Additional annual fees within the meaning of Art. 42 para. 1 FinSO are waived completely.
Public register
Registered client advisors can be searched for in the public register either by their first and last name or their registration ID. Only the information required purusant to Art. 30 FinSA is published.
