Client Advisor Register – Changing Employer Made Easy
According to Art. 41 para. 1 of the Financial Services Ordinance (FinSO), client advisors are required to notify the registration body of any change in the name or address of the financial service provider they represent. This notification must be made within 14 days.
To simplify this process, Regservices by BX Swiss introduces a new application type for a change of the employer: 👉 “Application for Change of Employer”
New Application Type: Change of Employer
The new application type allows registered client advisors to report their employer change quickly, digitally, and in compliance with the law.
The following information and documents must be submitted:
- Details of the new employer
- Name and address of the financial service provider
- Role and position within the company
- Employer confirmation
- Written confirmation from the new employer
- For self-employed advisors: current commercial register extract
- Proof of professional liability insurance
- In accordance with Art. 29 para. 1 lit. b FinSA and Art. 32 or 33 FinSO
- Alternatively, an equivalent financial security
- Details of the Ombudsman’s Office
- Indicate the Ombudsman to which the new employer is affiliated
- Optional: submit proof of Ombudsman affiliation for faster processing
Processing Fee
For processing an Application for Change of Employer, Regservices by BX Swiss charges a fee of CHF 150.– (in accordance with Section 2.4.1 of the List of Fees of the Registration Office).
